From Refugee to Successful American Entrepreneur: World War II Through the Eyes of a Child

I used the “Mapme” software to depict Charle’s life journey. For each location I included a description about that part of Charle’s life along with an audio clip of Charles talking about his experience during that time. I also included some photos of Charles before, during, and after the war. The photos from before the war are special because Charle’s mother buried them to keep them safe during the war and then dug them up after war. Charles’ journey as a child in Europe during World War ll was complicated, so it’s interesting to view his journey on the map. I also included Charles’ experiences after he immigrated to the United States because it is impressive all that Charles has done after the war as a successful investment banker.
